The Sunday PJS is not up yet but I read an article which one of the isu player's says PM will not be back? :-o The AD is out of town for a family funeral and a decision will be made when he gets back.
 
I want to be officially on record as changing my prior statement of Porter having one more year... I say there is a good chance he is out.

It sounds like he is gone otherwise they would not be making a statement about waiting for the A.D. to get back into town as if he was not going to be fired that would not make a difference.
 
In several interviews after Thursday's loss PM made reference to him coaching next year and the year beyond with his present freshmen...I thought it was a bit funny.

Yes, it's about poor in-game coaching, underdeveloping talent, not getting enough talent ... getting embarrassed by a fellow team in red regularly every year... :lol:
 
I had heard on this board if I remember right that the rumor was ISU had worked out a package deal for Matt a teammate and his Coach. If there was any truth to it we can assume thats dead.
 
Heck, maybe Osiris Eldridge wants to make amends and transfer to BU. I know Les wanted him pretty badly, and we were very close to getting OE. I know in-conference transfers are very rare these days, but who knows.

FWIW, I think ISU has a chance to make a good hire here. IMO the cupboard isn't bare for them, and I think with the right hire and player retention, they could be a top 6 team in a down MVC. A bad hire and/or player defections, and winning still could be a few years away.

FWIW Osiris' 2nd choice was Creighton and BU really wasn't as close as you think. Not that that matters now, but Les was a little late getting to OE, just as C-Lo was.

For those that don't know Washington is playing at the Fieldhouse tomorrow night in the State Playoffs, they tip off at 6 pm. I figured I'd go and bring a sign telling him where he should attend college.

This was actually Porter Moser's cell phone after he got the word that he was fired this morning. :lol:
