ISU vs. Wright State - Final BB Game

Yes, the halftime score is correct. Wright State was 9-27 (33.3%) in field goals and 2-11 in 3-pointers (18.2%), while Illinois State was 9-22 (40.9%) in field goals and 4-11 3-pointers (36.4%). No free throws were attempted by either team. For Wright State, (9-2)*2 + 2*3 = 20 points, and for Illinois State, (9-4)*2 + 4*3 = 22 points.

Oh my......are we to look for ISU to let the Valley down with a lackluster effort,
just when we could move past the A-10 in the conference RPI standings?

Oh and, BB, be careful using that word pathetic, some of the ISU fans are pretty thin skinned about it.
Anyway, they do have SOMETHING to be ecstatic about...Levi Dyer hit a shot and is one of their leading scorers at half with 3 points!
 
This is the best team they have had in years. I wonder why no one goes to thier games. Seriously they have a really nice stadium a community with not much else going on. How do they contiue to have such poor turnout?
 
Maybe the BracketBuster was not part of their season ticket package, or maybe it is because
so many fans can't go 2 hours without uttering profanity so they don't dare go to the games any more.



edit....whew...I see the Birds have opened up a 10 pt lead....
and BB you are very right about how so many Redbird fans are obsessed with everything Bradley.....so much so that in another thread I pointed out how the terms "Bradley" and "BU" occur 10 times more on Redbirdfans.com than the terms "Illinois State" or "ISU" occur here, even though we have 15-20 times the traffic and posts as they do!
In fact, there are 129 people online right now at BradleyFans on a Sunday night with NO game happening, while
ISU has 13 people online on a game day!!!!!!

It is.

And the final 4 minutes of the Wisky/OSU game was absolutely terrible basketball.

The NCAA Tourney could be ugly and wacky.

Who knows... UIUC could get hot and win the B10 Trny and then roll in the NCAA's to the Final4. That, IMO, is how crazy this could all get. ;)

Nope. ISU winning going away. ISU up 48-35 at the under 4 timeout (yes, second half timeout!). Not exactly an offensive showcase tonight!
