BU recruit Jake Eastman plays tonight in the Virginia High School Coaches Association All Star Game
at Hampton University. There are SIX different basketball All Star games, as they have a girls and boys
game for each of the THREE size classifications in Virginia (A, AA, and AAA).
Jake will be on the Class AAA West Boys team...along with his Douglas Freeman HS teammate
Josh Brinkley, and they play tonight....6PM (EDST) at Hampton Coliseum.

my daughter had an MRI last week, and I don't have any tremendous concern...so I guess that's up to the individual

I'm sure DR1 was speaking of the shoulder injury and not the MRI. Seems like we have a lot of players on the mend coming into this season.

I don't know anything except the report in the Richmond Times. I assume that originated from Jake himself, who likely gave that reason why he was not able to fulfill his committment to play in the high school all star game.
I have talked to a couple people with more knowledge of what's happening on campus, and nobody has heard anything about this. Probably if it was a serious injury, we would have heard more.

From what I've "seen" and heard this is nothing serious with Jake. He'll be at full strength within 2-3 weeks.

Does anyone know which shoulder? There's a huge difference between it being his shooting shoulder or the other.
