Once considered a late second-round pick at best, some pundits are predicting the former Saluki guard could go in the first round. Tatum improved his draft position with strong performances at NBA pre-draft camps in Portsmouth and Orlando.

There were no MVC players drafted last night. The other possible draft pick, Creighton's Anthony Tolliver, who was invited to some of the predraft camps, didn't get called either.

Tatum will play for the New Jersey Nets NBA Summer League team. He hopes to impress enough to get a chance at making the NBA as a free agent.--

Tatum should be able to make it pretty well in a European League at least, then he may be able to make it back over into the NBA. I just don't see him getting picked up as a free agent.
