Ja'Shon Henry article

Dude is a beast. So fun to watch and so effective. What a luxury to have him for 2 MORE YEARS.

He is a beast and a super good dude. Definitely lucky to have him and thank goodness Loyola never got back to him!

If Ja'Shon improves his 3-point shot* and ability to shoot on the move, he will be an All-MVC player.

Ja'Shon's stats last season- 24.0 minutes per game, 9.5 ppg, and 6.0 rpg

Only 3 MVC sophomores had higher scoring averages last season- Liam Robbins (Drake), Marcus Domask (SIU), and Roman Penn (Drake). Note that Penn was actually a 3rd year player/redshirt soph.

...And only Liam Robbins, who will be a starter in the Big Ten this year had better rebounding numbers among sophomores.
MVC Rebounding stats- http://mvc-sports.com/stats.aspx?pat...ind-rebounding

Here are the top scoring sophomores in the MVC in 2019-20 (note that all 3 played significantly more minutes per game that Ja'Shon played)-
Liam Robbins (Drake)- 14.0 ppg, 26.9 mpg
Marcus Domask (SIU)- 13.6 ppg, 34.8 mpg
Roman Penn (Drake)- 11.9 ppg, 30.4 ppg
Ja'Shon Henry (BU)- 9.5 ppg, 24.0 mpg

And here are the top sophomore rebounders from last season-
Liam Robbins 7.2 rpg
Ja'Shon Henry 6.0 rpg
Marcus Domask 5.2 rpg
Roman Penn 4.7 rpg

*Ja'Shon was a 32.3% three point shooter last season- not too bad for a PF
