I mentioned this in a thread buried somewhere....

He made in game adjustments and player adjustments that made a difference in the outcome. Jim is maturing as a coach and did a great job last night.

Great team effort!

The only time I questioned JL last night was there were times a time out could have been used to helped out a young team and stopped the bleeding.....other than that I thought things went well......I would like to get a copy of the JL's halftime speech though!

I was wishing he'd call a time out, when with a 10 point lead and the ball, they took 2 crazy shots, or as I call them DR shots. But on the post game show he explained why he didn't.

Coaches catch a bunch of grief for many things...thought I would give JL some props for a fine coached game, where I thought he made a difference in the outcome by making changes...some games it may backfire, but he made good choices last night....

I would like a copy of the halftime tape as well!

Chico was right in that we should have taken a timeout with the ball and a 10 point lead as we could have spread our offense out and made UIC chase us and foul us as they could not stop us one on one.

We won...I would say your wrong. :)

As coachdude stated....lots of things you coulda, woulda, shoulda but he made the correct moves last nite.

My post was that I'd wished he would have called a time out when with a 10 point lead they took 2 DR shots, not with a 10 point lead and the ball. When he didn't and explained why later, I would call that a good non-move. Keep up the good work JL.
