Jimmy Foster

Assistant coaches come and go, am glad for him and wish him success. Now the search starts on who to replace him. Do not know if Wardle and staff are looking at former players who have interest in returning to BU. First person in my mind is Jashon Henry. At least give him the courtesy of talking to him if he is interested. And if he meets the qualifications needed for the job. At that point all the staff can say he is no longer a person of interest for the job. Never hurts to just talk and find out.

Doesn't hurt, but the program really needs a strong recruiter with good, established connections to replace Foster. Former players, at least ones that aren't already established as some type of coach somewhere else, likely won't be what we need to replace Foster.

Totally agree with this. If we don't get a good recruiter, I'd like an offensive specialist.

Really need a recruiter. If Jimmy leaves the two Assistants we will have lost are perceived to be our best recruiters Drew Adams and Jimmy.

It's official, Jimmie Foster is leaving Bradley to take a position on Ali Farokhmanesh' staff at Colorado State.
Thanks for 10 years at Bradley, Jimmie!

Nice job photoshopping the background and green tie into the picture.

Thanks for the good work, Coach Foster. I always have had high regard for his work.

However I had hoped when/if he left it would be for a head coaching job. Somewhat disappointed that’s not the case. Best of luck. He deserves appreciation for the long time loyalty and effort.

Why have we had 2 Assistant coaches leave for other assistant positions. Are they bored with Bradley and the MVC?I was hoping one of them would stick around in case Coach Wardle left.

Though it is not for me to question anyone's career choices, it appears both might have left for a great job opportunity at a bigger, football-playing school in bigger, richer conference. And I suspect a significant increase in pay also played a part.
If and when Bradley is in the market for another head coach, both could become candidates.

It is interesting to note that no MVC school has had a more stable coaching staff over the last 10 seasons than Bradley. Only Drew Adams (3rd assistant) and Jimmie Foster (one of Bradley's two Associate Head Coaches) have left in that time span.
