So on Lunardi's latest espn bracket he has isu #9 seed still even after BU's win. Now isu seems to be a good team, but their schedule is much weaker than Bradley's so far and Braves beat them head to head. shouldnt' Bradley be getting some love for at large bid up to now if isu is? what do you guys think?

He is using ISU as a place holder and he probably feels that ISU will still win the Valley even with their road loss to us. From the outside looking in there's really no argument to his rational. The conference play is still much to young to back off earlier analysis.

There is only one sure way to make the dance and that is to win the MVC Tournament. So far our body of work would not get us in. I believe if we win the regular season in empressive fashion, play a good team in the BB and win and make it to the finals of the MVC then I'd say we are in good position to dance. This is much to early talk about the NCAA. I say let's just beat up some Blue Jays this weekend. Winning what we should will take care of everything else.

I'm hoping that 20 plus and the strong SOS.....#40 right now will help us out....I never want to defend isu....but they have only lost one road game @ in a very hard place to play and we have to show we can keep on winning and have turned this thing around IMO...we have some bad losses...and that is expected with a young team early on dealing with the injuries(AW and WE out for the season) this team has had to endure!:idea:

Right now to get to 20 wins is either 14-4 in conference or 13-5 with a BB win. I think either 14-4 or 13-5 might be good enough to win the conference.

But there is so much ahead of us that even thinking 20 wins is difficult. Would prefer to get CU on Saturday and take our chance with 3 straight winable road games.

Actually, we need 15-3 in conference or 14-4 with a BB win in order to get to 20 wins during the regular season. The SIU-E game will not count towards our overall record in the eyes of the NCAA!

We'll find out how our at-large resume looks. A win tomorrow and we're in that bracket on Monday at the automatic bid, so we'll see. I wouldn't expect anything other than a 13 and nowhere near the cut line, though.

Heck, even a loss tomorrow and we may out-RPI whoever we're tied with to be the bracket anyways.

The bottom line is we can get to 20 overall wins with/w/o SIUE. But any to even have any consideration for NCAA outside of winning the conference tourney we have to be virtually perfect.

I just have a feeling that if we win the conference title but lose the tourney, would not be surprised in the least to see us not make the NCAA, actually I think that goes for anyone in our conference could have the same situation.
