I'll continue supporting the team until the season is done, and I believe any supporter should do the same. Just my opinion.
And I'll continue to support the team as well after the season regardless of the decision

At halftime of the Drake game I walked by the scorer's table where Dr. Cross sits - he had left to I suppose chit chat with his boss - anyway he left his note papers laying on the table - I took a quick peek - this is what is said - stooooooooooooooooopid Wessler, stooooooooooooooooopid Wessler!
I agree with the content of the article but am really disappointed in the timing. Jim and the team don't deserve this type of treatment regardless of how the situation plays out.
And I'll continue to support the team as well after the season regardless of the decision
First off, very well organized and truthfully written column. Good work by Wessler.
Secondly, The paper is not a propoganda arm of Bradley University. The respondsiblity for Wessler is to write on topics that are relavant when he writes them. Interest is highest in Bradley basketball during the season and I would not be surprised it is at its most highest at the time of the MVC tournament. Waiting to write about a relavant subject a week after the season ends makes no sense.
It also makes no sense to hold off on an article to let anyone prepare for anything. Les is a big boy and he gets paid big boy money to deal with "distractions" along with getting his team prepared to play basketball. It is not Wessler or Reynolds or the papers job to go soft on Les just because they are getting ready for a game. That is absolutely irrelavant.
He is the face of this program and it is part of his job to answer questions, yes even the hard ones and often at times not timely for his or the teams liking. He does not have to answer anything or he can answer its his call but if there is something that the writers feels needs to be address it is not important what Les is trying to do.
What he has 2 people that write anything about his program on a regular basis and maybe 3 TV people who cover his program and those 3 will not ask anything hard. To me Jim Les actually has it very easy when it comes to having to answer anything difficult or distracting. Do you seriously think a good reporter gives a rats ***s if what they are asking is a distraction?
The only good time for an article is when that information is relavant and important at that moment. Sorry but the timeing of this article is perfect.
This was a pre-emptive strike, pure and simple, just in case the Braves would win a game, or two, or three ...
Forget the bones he tossed out there about injuries, graduation rate, etc.
At some point, you have to be able to adjust, cope and overcome ??” rather than be derailed. Not sure what this means. The injuries are JL's fault?
Injuries can and do have an impact on the quality of play, but they should not manifest in lack of effort, focus, tenacity and discipline. Too often, I watch Bradley and find those intangibles missing in action. Really? I see effort all of the time.
I agree that KW is on his way out, and wants to take Les with him.
As we all know, President Glasser and AD Cross will make their decision or have already made their decision. Whatever we, or the PJStar, think will not matter.
Go BU
I think a lot of people on here forget that. There isn't a single person that posts here that will have a drop of input on the decision one way or another (unless JGlasser and MCross have secret identities).
your statement is not true....there already has been input and will be more from some who post here....
The decision will be made at some point after a review of all the evidence and input
I've heard from pretty reliable sources that the decision has been made.
it is completely impossible for everything people have "heard from reliable sources" to be true because some of the things heard are completely polar opposites and negate each other.
