Seeing as we are nearing the end of the season, I've started looking forward to next year. I was only able to attend three games this year, but I enjoyed all three!

So looking to the future, which of the freshmen players are you mos excited about going forward? DLO and Pittman have been getting some good praise around here lately and for good reason IMO. Personally I think Van Bree has a bright future at BU as well. Barker had a nice game against the Aces this week that I thought was impressive after watching, however that was all I really saw of him in the games I attended this year.

So who are you most excited about for the next 3 years?

I love watching all our guys play but especially love watching Scottie James play - and hope he really develops into a scorer...
work on that outside shot!!!

Yes, I like van Bree. If he continues to develop and get stronger, he could give the Braves something rarely seen in the Valley- a 6'9" wing who can dribble, and score from inside or out, and rebound. Cleanthony Earley helped make Wichita State into a Final Four team team with similar traits.

Scottie James. I've thought he should be playing more all year. His shot looks so good and he is by far the most athletic of the three centers on the roster imo. If you think about those giant feet it makes you wonder if he won't grow another 2-3 inches. Him at 7+ feet tall, shooting and moving as well as he does, could be a legitimate NBA prospect. Excited too see if he grows and how much, could see him as most improved in the conference.

I agree on van Bree because of his size. If he works on getting stronger with the ball in the paint he will be hard to stop. I like him in the post when he's not guarded by a big. He's done well the last 8-10 games with that turn around jumper......and I like Pittman and DLO a lot too.....I really like them on defense and how they have adjusted as the year went.
There maybe 3 assists against Evansville that would have been turnovers earlier in the season by DLO...but he dumped the ball the last second for the score...I think the freshman bigs have doing better getting to a spot for that pass as well. Pittman will only get better offensively too....shooting form 3 as well as taking it to the basket. He put the team on his back for part of the second half of the Drake game.

Luuk reminds me of Will Egolf when he was finally able to move outside and shoot
