I guess I would understand not wanting people spamming my message board with all kinds of slander or swearing. But when people genuinely want to discuss problems and vent a little bit the mods go crazy.
I think they have had too much red kool-aid.
 
Since you are new here, I'll give you a second chance.
This is a privately owned site, and we have rules that cover what kinds of criticisms and attacks on players are allowed. Simply stated- there is no free-speech issue here. Read the rules and follow them.
We are talking about college kids who played hard tonight and came up short. If you feel you have to unload on individual players and lay the entire blame on them for this loss, then you can take that kind of stuff to another forum where they love to rip players and coaches. This is a pro Bradley forum. Please keep posts constructive.

I think they do a good job of letting people discuss the team. Not always positive, but when things do go over the top they take care of it. These are student-athletes not professional athletes. If I was pouring in the time and money they are to run this I would run it how I pleased as well, and personally wouldn't put up with all of the mod bashing that goes on around here.

Stop. If you haved something intelligent to say then do so but don't single out individual players. I think the mods have let most of the Les complaints stay even though they may not share the opinion. If you want to complain about team play, rebounding, shot selection, refs, defense, etc then by all means do so. Plenty of that on here this year especially compared to past seasons. Just don't single out a particular player for a loss. Thats just the way it is. Most of us die hard fans have our own thoughts as to why we lost but won't blame someone in our family. I'll bet we share the same opinions about a certains players skill, talents, or ability. I just don't think it needs to be on here. It does not relate to an explicit picture.

i agree. dont turn this board into the compliant dept.show a little class with your posts and everything will be fine. losses bother the coaches and players more than it does most fans.

anyway, it's darned near impossible to delete "intelligent posts" when there are so precious few.:)..and anyway....
...it's always the intelligent ones that have the best "icons"....so it really gets difficult for the mdos!

Look, I am not saying the rules aren't the rules, I'm just saying that I think they are sometimes a bit too stringent. As I've watched this board over the past two years and read threads most evenings after work, I've noticed when people get upset, there doesn't seem to be a place for it.
And last night, I was upset. I hit my tipping point. And I displayed my dissapointment here. My wife just doesn't quite understand how I feel after my team loses. I was hoping for some support, but in all actuality all I did was upset the powers that be. For that, I apologize. I understand the rules, I just don't have to like them:cry:

And to you, OutofBalance...I need to get a life? And I need to go post elsewhere? Well, tough luck for you pal. I'm here to stay.8)
 
CE, keep posting away. We have all had messages deleted at one or another I'm sure. I know I have, but it's been awhile. Coach does a great job and he does what he thinks is in the best interest of Bradley basketball and their fans.

Ok, stay:) After reading the above, admitting and apologizing of being a little out of control (as I and everyone has at times), I am glad you are staying:!::D I apologize for being a little hasty with you! But I must tell you, and this is coming from one who knows more than most, pick and choose and dance around your statements here or they will be deleted:!: Your alright friend, just don't let the little things get you and enjoy the avatars as it is part of life and fun:lol: As for your wife not understanding, most don't, including mind:-P I will be looking for your posts:!: You take care:)
 
I concur with the "had posts deleted" sentiment. I am ok with it, as most everything of mine that has been deleted was from post-game, alcohol induced rage... ;)
 
Let's not forget that users do have the option to "turn off" the avatars, which is what I do at work.

There.......problem solved. :roll:
