Marcus Liberty Signs with Chicago ABA Team

Maybe it's just a publicity stunt, or can the guy still play?

The Chicago Rock Stars of the ABA have signed
Marcus Liberty as a player.
Marcus was the #1 high school player in the nation in 1987,
but he is presently 38 years old (TODAY!!, as his birthday is 10/27/68 ). He has not played
in the NBA since 1994.

I found a list of the guys on the Chciago Rockstars roster, and there are a few other interesting Chicago guys on the roster.

First...Najeeb Echols made the cuts and is on the team, but once the practices started, he has not shown up yet.

Ayinde Avery (DePaul), Thomas Hamilton, Imari Sawyer (DePaul), and Jerry Gee (Illini), Kevin Turner (Illini), are with the team, as are Sherrick Simpson, Derek Molis (Loyola), Louis Smith (Loyola).

This is a great move.
The Peoria ABA team needs to listen up.
Get a few of the old BU greats like Dwayne Funches, Deon Jackson, Curtis Stuckey, Bayo, and get those guys on the team!

I wonder how much Thomas Hamilton weighs now? Anyone know? I bet at least 400 lbs. Do you guys remeber how big this guy is? 7'4" right?
