Matt Roth

Matt has received an invitation to the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp
which will be held in June in Virginia

The NBPA Top 100 Camp is underway and a few reports list some Illinois guys as having a good opening day.
Camp directors are Tim McCormick and Bob Gibbons.

The camp is closed to the public, but some reports are making their way out (some on premium and subscription sources), all the players are Class of 2008 and 2009.

Here's what was said on Matt Roth:
"If a three-point shooting contest were to break out during the down periods, Matt Roth of Illinois has to be considered a favorite in the impromptu contest. The long-armed shooter is automatic from deep."

7-1 BJ Mullins from Ohio is strong.
Oak Hill guard Brandon Jennings was said to be the top player on day 1.
Chicago's Mike Dunnigan is strong inside and blocks shots well.
East Chicago's Angel Garcia "can really score facing the hoop and has range to three on his jumper."
Illini recruit Matthew Humphrey (Hales Franciscan)
"stuck the three and had a couple oop dunks"
Saginaw, Michigan forward Draymond Green "is in town but hobbling around on a pair of crutches. He sprained his ankle at Michigan State's elite camp last week".

I could find no mention on Nick Fruendt or Iman Shumpert who are there.

A new Rivals article today reports on several players at the NBA Players Association camp in Charlottesville, Va. The article mentions that Iman Shumpert is impressing people.
Also, there is a short mention of Matt Roth. He confirms that he has eliminated ISU, and is down to a choice between St. Louis, Bradley, and Wichita State. He said he wants to visit Wichita State before making his decision.
