Max Bielfeldt

Mitch was the middle kid, and Cody was 3rd and much younger. There's quite a few Gilfillans in Peoria.

I also don't think anyone ever suggested Max "owes" Bradley to "finish up here", but I'll hang up and wait for mvcfan to point that out for me. No player "owes it" to play anywhere they don't want to, although you might want to tell that to some ISU fans re Reggie Lynch.

So since Cody is the only Gilfillan who ever played with Max, not Mitch, and the older 2 brothers are 9 or more years older, and since Cody ended up playing soccer at Bradley for a year, I think that gives "everyone here" the right to claim that Max has a stronger connection to Bradley than ISU.

ISU....your move. :)

Amck....At 22, Max is not a kid....He's a young man. Some 22 year olds fight wars, fly jets, play in the NBA, teach school, and raise children.
Cummon Max...Make a decision and move on!
Wiz

But he's not doing any of those things, he's looking for a grad school. I wouldn't want my kids to make that decision 1 or 2 weeks.

Max needs to make the best decision for Max, not for any program. If that means BU and the rest of the programs need to wait so be it.

Are you delusional? There have been no deletions of any posts in this thread, and no posts deleted in a long time. Every post is numbered (in the right upper corner of the post) and they are all in sequence. If any were deleted, there would be missing numbers.

The posts that get deleted are posts like yours, making wildly untruthful claims, then throwing around absurd accusations and trolling here when we know what your purpose is.

I am still waiting for the many posts by "everyone here" who thinks Max "owes it to Bradley to finish up there".

so while I don't necessarily care if posts were deleted or not. I also doubt this message board software would not truncate and replace post numbers if posts were deleted. I.e. if this is post 31 and it's deleted, the post after this would become the de facto 31.

hey and actually I can test that. So this is post 32...wonder what happens when 31 goes away.

EDIT...well there ya have it folks...31 goes away, and this becomes de facto 31. therefore the number in the top right hand corner, scales to the post.

Well thanks for clearing that up. I stand corrected. But it is irrelevant to this discussion. There have been no deletions, and still not a single poster has suggested that Max owes anything to Bradley. I always love it when someone can't admit they were wrong and lowers himself to the bogus claim that a "bunch of posts must have been deleted".

Irrelevant to the discussion or not. Figured you might want a heads up moving forward. So Max, there ya go, if ya want a degree in BIS, go to Bradley, it's paid off for one of us!

there are multiple different threads currently on Max - if you think your post isn't here, it could be because it's in one of the other threads on Max

there's a report that Max will visit DePaul today and has narrowed his list to six or seven - BU, ISU, Iowa State, DePaul, Boston College, Kansas State, and Stanford
some sources do not list Illinois State

Thank God Max has "narrowed" his list to six or seven schools. One might think he's the second coming of Michael Jordan or dwayne Wade instead of a
deep bench- sitting substitute whose school would not even renew his scholarship.
Wiz

wiz- you have perceived a whole new phenomenon that is emerging....and I expect it'll get worse and more & more kids will remain uncommitted until late in spring to take advantage of this feeding frenzy we currently see.

Every spring even the obscure or marginally talented kids create an amazing and even inexplicable frenzy caused by schools who have open scholarships (maybe they have players leaving or guys going to the NBA) - and it's getting late in the cycle and teams feel the desperation to FILL those scholarships and the kids who are available that late sense how hard those schools are coming after them -
thus they enjoy being treated like a hot commodity - it's their 15 minutes of fame - and some of them play it for all it's worth...

I could narrow that list down to one school where Max would a) make the most impact and b) be welcomed with the most excitement. Maybe he's not Wade or Jordan's second coming, but if Max chooses a second coming to his hometown, he will make many, many people happy.

I wish him well on his choice. And if choosing gets too difficult, Max, I volunteer to make it for you!
