It was David L. Puterbaugh who pledged the multimillion dollar naming right gift in 2009, he was an avid fan, present at all the games - known by many as one of the most enthusiastic fans, even hosting Bradley events at his home.
He is also listed as a very large donor to SMU and continues to be in their "SMU Unbridled 100" donor listing, which is their highest level donor society.

Yep. David received his BBA and MBA from SMU.
