Did da coach see that Michael Cross is the new commissioner of the southern conference.I am so glad they have to deal with him and not us He will probably try to destroy that conference as well.

For the record, I liked Dr. Cross personally. Just felt he was in a tough position under Pres. Glasser. Most of the decisions he made that had poor outcomes weren't really his decisions.

Didn't he believe and side with a few horribly miserable, disgruntled fans who hated Jim Les?
It was fully Cross' decision to treat almost every fan (especially those he knew had been JL supporters) as if they were a hostile enemy, and lie to the fan base about the recruitment process of Geno (he said Geno was the ONLY one they had considered when in fact, they had considered and even offered the position to several who turned it down) -
..and he lied about his own efforts to consider pursuing dropping Bradley down to DIII level (he consulted with people at Illinois Wesleyan) and he lied about his efforts to get Bradley's home games moved to Ren-Col, and push & went along with lies about the amount of spending deficit (over $21 million in 3 years from 2012-15) in the Athletic Dept. & manipulated the Board into gifting Joanne with a 5-year extension and him with a 3-year extension just as he knew they were about to get canned. There's plenty more on Cross... but for now..worst AD ever. brought down the whole University and helped get even his Prez fired.

Yeah, I have had some encounters with Cross that were not pleasant and when I related them to Joann, he was told to meet with me and apologize. He didn’t and finally called me on the phone and stated that he was instructed to apologize. He didn’t mix well with fans at the Braves Club at the RC. He would just stand in the corner. Total opposite from Chris Reynolds, who makes it a priority to greet every fan.
