I put more trust in these numbers because this is their business -- the mid-major market. And, I agree with the order putting BU #6 -- close behind NIU. If the chips fall our way we could easily slide into the #4 or #5 spot in the Valley and be in the Mid-major Top 20 by mid-February.

Unfortunately, Mac, this is the Top-40 Mid-majors. They'd probably still have us between 80-100 of all schools. :cry:

Guess we'll just have to wait until March again to prove ourselves :wink:
 
One thing I know for sure is that the BU players and coaches truly believe they can win the Valley with the talent they have.
They are not just talking PR, they are not shoting for an NIT bid, they fully believe that as long as the MVC race is a ten-way dead heat right now, then BU has as much opportunity as anyone else, and even more than some playing off their experience and ability.
 
I'm so embarassed that our coach is voting in this stupid poll.

This poll is not befitting a Big-7 conference :)

Doesn't everyone have an equal chance when it's a 10-way dead heat, as it is at the beginning of every season? :?:

If BU wins the MVC I will walk to Arch Madness.

I agree with Mik. We're a Top 25 program. We've graduated from this poll!
