Missouri Valley Conference is proposing to change the Arch Madness format

I think the main people I can see liking this are Murray and Belmont. They are used to being 1 or 2 in the league and figuring they have a 50% or bette3r chance of getting in the NCAA. Well-if they wanted that they should have stayed in that poor excuse of a conference the OVC. The Valley is different-the difference is not that great (normally) between 1 &2 and the middle of the Valley. They great moaning will come if they do this and then don’t get more than one team in the NCAA. The fanbase that will explode is the first time there is a tie for second place and somebody loses the tiebreaker and has to win two games to get the right to play the team they tied with in the regular season.

Assuming we are successful at getting a 1 or 2 seed, I’m fine with the new format knowing I won’t have to spend $350 a night on a hotel.
