Montana gone- Transfer Portal news

the Demarion Burch Instagram that I and Brian Wardle foillow doesn't have anything - so which are you talking about?

I said weeks ago I expected three of our players to go in the portal.... plus we still have one or possibly two open scholarships
depending if Rugaard is on scholarship.
One already has entered the portal and another is about to do so...
It’s posted on his story right now “OShoww”

Montana we hardly knew you. He seems to be a kid who wants to play and if someone is going to pay you some more green to do it more power to him. Just hope he's not shooting too high. Not too worried about who will replace him. If there's one thing that Brian can really do is recruit 6 foot point guards. Now if JJ leaves

I think maybe that is one of the scenarios he may have been looking at. JJ not leaving. Maybe he saw it was going to be hard to beat him out

in most cases BU guys who leave before they graduate have NOT prospered.

Of the guys who went in the portal since Covid-

Kingsby, Antonio Thomas, Gabriel, Nolan, McAdoo, Hall, Roberts, Weathers, Ekono, Pettigrew, Ellis, Kyle Thomas, Zek Montgomery, Biliew, Hickman, Wol- were guys who maybe were happier elsewhere but they didn’t exactly prosper

Mast, Kent then maybe Almar did succeed but you’re right

He will end up somewhere near home. He is being fed bad information by his “handlers”. We shall see what the market is for a 5’8” PG. Best of luck, now let’s get an adult sized PG that isn’t a defensive liability

Just what we've seen so far DR needs more practice. He turned the ball over several times when he played this season.I hope Zobes will be ready.

I know there are people saying Jaquan is leaving, but that is not 100% decided yet. It could very well happen, but everything now is determined by the players' NIL agents. I suspect Jaquan's NIL agent is busy shopping him around, and if they find something that benefits Jaquan (and his agent) we'll see his name heading for the portal.

this bums me and I have to think it does the same to our coaching staff.
Our staff finds the guy, recruits & signs him when he has few other offers becaiuse the other guys dropped off when he
stopped growing at 5-9. Then he gets a tremendous opportunity to play at the highest level - and logs more minutes
than all but 5 other guys in conference play, takes the THIRD most shots, scores the 3rd most points and was given the chance
by Coach Wardle to run the entire offense for 10-20 minutes per game. Then he bolts - no loyalty....unappreciative.
I will be interested to see who else pursues a 5-9 reserve guard and gives him any better opportunity than he had here.

FWIW- his brother played at three different schools, transferring twice
Not 5.9. 😂

There are other reports I am hearing that it is true, but don't know why they removed the tweet.

If it does happen, that would be 2 Bradley transfers to Power Conference teams in the Big 12, to go along with 2 transfers to other lesser-MVC teams. :)

Isn't K-State where former Belmont head coach Casey Alexander got hired?

Very odd that 3 of our 4 transfers are linked to the MVC still.
