In addition to Bradley's game at SIU at 6:00 pm.--

Wichita State plays at Missouri State at 6:00 pm in a game that is on ESPN2 and ESPN 360--
By the way, Missouri State will be without 2 of their starters in their game against Wichita State. Drew Richards (mononucleosis) and Shane Laurie (concussion) will miss tonight's game.--

Boy...the national TV audience is realing going to get a good double dose of how bad Missouri Valley Conference basketball is this year.
-> BU and SIU on ESPNU will feature the two biggest disappointments in the league so far. One team can't score and the other can't rebound or stop teams from scoring...The game might end up 46-38 or it might be 92-78...but either way, I'm betting it's not going to be pretty to watch.
-> WSU and MSU on ESPN2 features two very mediocre Valley teams playing shorthanded...WSU will be missing its starting point guard and MSU will be missing two starters. I'm guessing that watching WSU struggle offensively in this game will illustrate to us just how bad BU's defense was against them in Peoria...

4 of the bigger 'name' teams from the Valley will be featured on ESPN tonight...The only problem is that none of these 4 teams are very good this year...So, I think the casual hoops fans will probably draw the conclusion that no one is the Valley is any good at all this year, after watching these two games...
Maybe that assessment is correct....

I'd consider myself a hardcore Valley fan and I'd assess that the league isn't very good. I've watched almost every team play at least once online or on TV (except for ISU, so can't pass judgement there) ... and I wasn't all that impressed with any of them. Drake is streaky and can look very good. Creighton also has their really good moments. What hurts a lot right now is that BU lost at home to two of the worst I've seen (Wichita and UNI).
