Yep, UIC had a 13 point lead with about 5 minutes left in the game.
But then Indiana State outscored UIC over the next 5 minutes 18-5 to tie the game 74-74. Indiana State appeared to have one final possession for a chance to win, but they threw away an inbounds pass and UIC scored to win it 76-74.

First off that was an incredible play by Crawford to not only make the steal but to have enough control to gather himself and make the shot. ISU Blue had no more time outs and Scott had no choice but to inbound the ball but it didn't look the Sycamores had a designed play to get it in. There were some interesting stats to come out of this game. UIC got outrebounded by 9 but forced 21 turnovers. ISU Blue had 25 assists on 30 made FG's. There were only 22 fouls called in the game yet UIC was 15-20 from the FT line while ISU Blue was just 4-8. UIC has now won 7 in a row, their longest win streak in eight years, and are tied with BU for 3rd in the Valley. Their next 2 games are at SIU and Murray State then they host Belmont
