Wichita State is in 8th place in the MVC with a 3-6 record (0-5 on the road- they were 6-3 on the road in the MVC last year). Here is more bad news for the Shockers:

Perhaps their best and most consistent player, P.J. Couisnard, suffered a dislocated right thumb in the game against Bradley when he accidently hit the bottom of the backboard trying to block a shot midway through the 2nd half. He is questionable for tonight's home game against Drake.

I remember that play. The way he was holding his body it looked like he had been hit in the groin.
