MVC goes 7-3 in BracketBuster

Our average win was by nearly 12 points.

Our average loss was by 4.


And if WSU hadn't been smoked, the other two only got beat by 1 or 2.

Not a bad showing for the Valley!
 
Drake won by 10 over Cal State - Northridge (playing without Xavier Crawford)
but the refs (Valley refs Gaston, Draucker, Casey) whistled 29 fouls on CSUN and sent Drake to the line 28 times,
with 2 of the Matadors' starters fouling out and two more playing 'til the end with 4 fouls.
I gotta think the home crowd felt robbed!
 
Too bad WSU couldn't claw back into the game vs Utah St. 8-2 with your top 6 teams winning would have been awesome. And to think the MVC was within 1-2 minutes of being 9-1...Who would have predicted that?
 
Maybe the Valley will overtake the Pac-10 at some point?
Probably not though, but a good day of Bracketbusters helped.
An Indy St. win could have really helped the conf. RPI.
7-3 is about what was expected, and nothing out of the ordinary on Bracketbusters weekend.
