admittedly, nobody in the Valley is doing all that well...and I know it's early...but
the scoring leader, Osiris was only 1-10 last night from 3-pt..and the other expected guys like Josh Young,
Dillard, Stinnett, Kelly, Farokhmanesh, Freeman, Hannah, and Marshall are all way down so far.

Farokhmanesh averaged 9.6 PPG last year and is averaging 9.3 PPG this year. I think of any of the UNI guys, Moran is in a little bit of a shooting struggle. He's shooting 23% from the field and 14% from 3. However, UNI hasn't had a home game yet, so a chance to develop some rhythm hasn't occurred due to being on the road this year. That hopefully will change tonight...with a whopping 2000 fans in the stands. :)

Here are some more MVC stats as of Dec. 2...

Overall record: 39-17 (.696, last year's record was 82-51 in non-conference play, .617)
Home: 25-3
Away: 8-5
Neutral: 6-9

Against top 25: 1-3 (guess who has the 1 win?)
Against "BCS members": 4-6 (1-1 when played at home)
(the MVC uses this term, "BCS members", and we all know what it means)

Two teams remain unbeaten, ISU is 6-0, MSU is 5-0.

BU has a 5 game winning streak against in-state non-conference foes, and Jim Les is 17-5 lifetime against them (.773)

Coach Les has:
a lifetime perfect record against the Big 12 (3-0, 2 against Iowa State, 1 against Kansas)
a lifetime perfect record against the ACC (Virginia, Miami)
a SIX game winning streak against the Big East (Providence, Cincy, DePaul)
a 1 game winning streak against the Big Ten
