My New Rankings

It looks like you think Stan Simpson and Josh Crittle are overrated?

Isn't Chris Parrish committed to SIU?

john moran is not very quick for a point guard and not very strong either. he can shoot but he's only 6'0 and that could be a problem at the next level. uni got a kid who is dedicated to learning and improving and one who will be able to manage a team under pressure in a few years. i'm not sure if he's under or over-rated because i'm don't know a lot about the other players. i think it's a pretty good pickup for UNI. (almost like a Sam M type guy, but not quite as awesome) haha.

Simpson and Crittle are very overrated in my opinion.

Simpson - He's athletic and has size but rarely uses his weapons. He is an active rebounder when he wants to be but lacks the aggressive mindset to take over a game.

Crittle - He is a big body and runs the floor well for his size but has gotten lazier each year. He has all the tools to be a solid player but refuses to work and hasn't gotten better since his sophomore year.

Paris Carter is a good player. He's an athletic 6'6" 230 lbs, very athletic. He runs the floor well and is a great rebounder but is more of an undersized power forward than a small forward. I'd think he's a JC prospect with Division I talent so he can improve both his grades and perimeter skills.

Not sure on N'Diaye's status but it looks good. He's only 19.

I've seen Verdell plenty of times. He's averaging 23 points and 9 assists right now and I've seen him a couple times already this season. He averaged 20 pts, 8 ast, and 4 rebs last season and I saw him play numerous times. Plenty of people have called him overrated and I've seen him play a few bad games but the majority of the time he's been very good. The BCS schools aren't recruiting him for no reason. He has a great upside and is one of the nation's most skilled players. His body is finally starting to develop as well. If he got his defense better got a little bit stronger, and somehow became more athletic, he'd be the same player as Shumpert but a better ball handler and passer...so better.

If I were about 2 inches taller, became more athletic, and was a little quicker on D, I would be the same player as Shumpert.;)

If I was an inch or 2 taller, far more athletic, several decades younger, and infinitely better on both ends of the floor, I would be a poor-man's Brian Lavin!:)

Paris Carter had a good freshman season at Pensacola JC (junior college).
I had heard BU might have looked at him a while back, and he will be PJC's best returning scorer (12 ppg) and rebounder (5 rpg).
