Thought I'd start a thread for any and all talk on the upcoming NBA Draft...


since the Wichita guys announced they are returning to college (Ron Baker & Fred Van Vleet) there hasn't been much to suggest any MVC player is even close.

Our Player of the Year, Seth Tuttle was at one time hinted maybe a long shot for deep 2nd round, but he performed poorly at the Portsmouth Invitational with all the NBA scouts watching and like diminished any chances he had.


Hersey Hawkins' kid, Corey Hawkins has been invited to the Draft Combine and there's some talk that the Sixers worked him out and liked his shooting and his range!
He may have longshot odds of getting into the late 2nd round, and the SIXERS have the #47, #58 & #60 picks!

The NBA draft is June 25.
The Lakers recently had a private workout with Seth Tuttle of UNI.

The Lakers have the #2 overall pick in the first round, and are expected to draft Jahlil Okafor or Karl-Anthony Towns, whichever is available. They also have the 27th pick in the 1st round and the 34th overall pick (4th pick in round 2).

Here is one of many mock drafts, and like all the ones I have seen so far, Tuttle falls outside of the 2 rounds of the draft.
