NBA Finals and the Braves

interesting admission live on national TV during the NBA Finals...

Their NBA referee expert Steve Javie freely admits that he would sometimes call a flagrant foul early in a game that was NOT really a flagrant foul...
because "he would want to send a message early that he didn't want the fouls to escalate"...

this flies in the face of what other referee experts say that refs are fair & professional and will always call a foul a foul no matter whether early in the game or late...and not try to engineer the game...
It confirms to me that refs do have agendas and they are not always fair and objective...we have also seen this on occasion when a ref gets recorded on a live mic saying things like he's gonna ring a guy up even if it isn't a foul, etc...

How many traveling calls do they make when a guy take 6 steps before he shoots? If you watch pro basketball you shouldn't complain about the officiating. I'd rather watch the opera.
