Maybe call this one the Bill Self-rule or John Calipari-rule??
The NCAA seeks to review the possibility of a new rule that would -
"clamp down on the funneling of money to recruits' handlers and other
associates, in part by banning the hiring of "an individual associated with a
prospect" for two years before or after the player's arrival on campus. Those
hired before Oct. 29, 2009, would be grandfathered"
also the hiring of high school coaches and recruits' coaches to do camps would be restricted...
some of these techniques are used regularly and successfully by many of the top programs..Kansas, Kansas State, Memphis, Louisville, etc....
