This has to be tough to project. Maybe Coley's dad   ....

I'm sure JL has some good thoughts on who he wants.

Does he reach into his past and pull a former BU big man.....does he get some Chicago HS coach with a great reputation.

This is a big hire for JL.

Did Chuck resign? As of right now we don't need a new assistant.

EDIT: I am an idiot, I didn't read that Lennox accepted the SIU-E head coaching job. Congrats to Lennox! The Jim Les coaching tree is beginning to blossom!

Maybe Coach Corn so he can bring Demetrius Young with him.

We'll save the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations for Charlie Coley's dad, or maybe his mom!

Dick Versace?

Unfortunately I think the NCAA would open up an office in Sisson if Dick Victory were back on the BU bench. The NCAA hasn't forgotten what he said about their selection committee (which was all true), or what was covered up back in the mid-80's (which was unnecessary).

Tom Les, Coach Corn, and perhaps Jeremy Crouch (in 2008) would be great choices to add to the coaching staff.

This would be great time to find an asst that has strong ties to chicago; one that can recruit that area as there are so many good players that seem to go out of state; I think we need more of a recruiter then a coach unles C. Buescher does not stay on much longer.

Donald Reese?

Or maybe if Mitchell Anderson is let go after the train wreck in Memphis possibly he would be interested in BU.

Rick Malnati?

Billy Wright?

There are choices out there with BU ties.

Does anyone have a guess as to what an asst coach @ BU would make a year....wouldn't it be more than what a high school head coach would make? :?

Sergio or Wayne McClain

I think all but BW turned JL down when he arrived at BU! :-o

Success can sometimes change minds, who knows.

I though agree that a chicago tied coach would be great, Coach Corn out in Yuba would be very good addition.

I think BU has done fine without living off the chicago kids....and done very well with the burbs! 8)

bu has to recruit chicago hard, and the entire state for that mater, however bu can live without chicago, just try not to live without chicago imho
