New Civic Center scoreboard

That would be great news for everyone and shooting for next season is even better! After seeing the scoreboard @ iowa state, the CA scoreboard is really outdated! Plus after reading the article finding out parts are not available? :o The new screens are set up just like an HD tv.....iowa state has 8 screens with 2 stacked on each side and the bottom screen being the scoreboard....VERY NICE!:D

Hate to qoute nike but...."JUST DO IT" sounds about right to me! :D
 
It needs a new 1 badly. I think the last 3 or 4 Bradley home games, the scoreboard shutdown at least 2 or 3 times a game. I don't know how much scoreboards cost but they could maybe use some of that $500,000 grant they received for the landscaping. LOL

A new scoreboard would be awesome.

The replay people at games are THE WORST. THE WORST.

Oh so there was a very controversial charge call....let's show Chris Roberts 75 foot game winner AGAIN. Terrible

That's a good point. I haven't heard anything about the sound system...although the ads don't sound all that bad....sometimes Herzog doesn't sound good

I assume there has to be a better sound system with it!! Can't wait for a new HD video system. Hate to admit this...but the video board over at Deadbird Arena is crystal clear and sharp, and has made ours look very bad in comparison the past few years. Much needed upgrade for Carver...now if they can fit some more restrooms in somehow somewhere, move Carver closer to campus, and hire a new coach...I'll be a elated:lol::lol:
 
The reason why our scoreboard is not good is because they went with price over quality, was in the sporting goods business for years and never heard of the company they chose over Dactronics the 1st time, anybody remember the cheap seats they also purchased and then had to sue the Italian company they purchased them from because they were also bad, ended up having to send them back and start all over with another company, obviously the people making these decisions should know the old saying"you get what you pay for".
 
I really hope that a new, modern scoreboard/jumbotron means a new, modern video montage and intro. The recent versions of the montage have looked like they were put together on a weekend by a high schooler with a video camera in his school's A/V room. I hope it was the limitations of the scoreboard the kept BU from having intros that at least looked professionally done.
