New Jerseys?

Not sure, but I think the team needs a change in its "look", since this is a new era of Braves basketball. The jersey looks pretty nice, though not stunning. I like the front better than in years past - the "BRADLEY" stands out more.

I liked the side of the jersey & shorts the past 2 years - more than any other year, though I liked the '95-'96 uni's from what I recall with the diamonds down each side.

Personally I like the throwback cursive ones! :)

And Fyre, I hope your signature means that you're going to try out my idea next year and you're NOT a dirty red.

I'm as red as it gets buddy lol

I would yell CITY TILL I DIE, but because of the "Typical City" meltdown after a 5-nil defeat of Sunderland on Monday, I'll just shut up! Haha How do you like my idea of YNWA before BU games?? YES! I only recognize it as FC Celtic's anthem btw

Honestly, that jersey kind of looks like a throwback.

But I'd be totally for going back to a throwback jersey or having the new jersey resemble a throw back style.

Screw the fads.

Screw the God awful blacks!

I happen to like the black on occasion. Let's wear them the 1st round of the MVC tourney and then switch to red after we win the 1st.
I liked the idea for the black-out vs. ISU (red) a couple years ago, though we didn't win.

Careful there... =)

Oh you know what I meant hahaha. I thought about changing the wording as soon as I posted it, but then I was like.. IF they're TRUE BU fans, they'll know what I'm talkin about!

@LB. I don't like them even on occasion. Red and White are the school colors. Trimmed in black is okay, but there's nothing in the School song about black being for power... that's red! :)

o.k. - you got me.
Here's to dumping the black uni's to back up the school song.
Now if they happen to stick with black, I'm not going to protest. :)

look -- if we can call ourselves the Braves but use a Bobcat as a mascot, then we can have Red & White as our colors but occasionally use black jerseys!

o.k. - where did the Bobcat come in, T? I haven't been following the "Mascot" thread much I guess.

In November, 1993 Bradley did adopt the Bobcat as the "unofficial" mascot of the Bradley athletic teams in an attempt to help get rid of the memory of all Indian references in their previous logos and mascots. They even created a costumed caricature in which a student pranced around the Carver Arena floor during games, mostly appealing to children. Every fan I knew thought it was a really dumb idea. The Bobcat lasted a few years, and was mostly ridiculed. After Ken Kavanagh became the AD in 1996, he got rid of the Bobcat mascot.

Thanks for the history of the BU Bobcat, DC.
I watched about half the Braves' games in '95-'96 when attending IWU and vaguely remember a bobcat. Guess there was a lot more to pay attention to that season other than the mascot. :)

1st of all, City and Liverpool are dreadful. OH TO BE A GOONER!!

2nd, I loved the black jerseys when we had the black out. I dont want them to replace the red jerseys as our away color, but to have that option as an alternate jersey is nice.
