Wow. Just when we accept that Coach Wardle was happy with his current roster, he surprises us with another player for 2024-25, who can give the team some help at the "4" position, which appeared to be the position Bradley was the weakest at.
Welcome to Bradley Handy!

Here are all of Handy's stats at Weatherford College for 2024-25-

Updated Bradley Scholarship Grid-

Found a source with some more interesting details about Handy Toussaint III...

Born in Haiti, grew up playing soccer and VB, his family had some pretty good soccer players, but his aunt saw his size and put him on to basketball.
Then he went to a year of prep school at Vista Prep in Phoenix AZ, then finished high school at Worthington Christian in Ohio.
He has spent the past several months taking visits and talking to various DI & DII coaches,
(some examples- Milwaukee, St. Peters, Hawaii, Mercyhurst, Kentucky Wesleyan, Hawaii-Hilo, Eastern NM...)
but when he visited Bradley he felt it was like family and that the coaching staff was honest with him.
His favorite player is Kobe. He will be in Peoria soon.
Fans will be able to meet him at the preseason Itoo Spaghetti Supper.

Handy wore #13 for both seasons at Weatherford College. That number #13 is available at Bradley this season. He would become the 20th Bradley player to wear #13 if he chooses that number. It was last worn by Sam Hennessy in 2024-25.
Here are all the previous 19 Bradley players who have worn #13.

Good to get an athletic 6-8 player that has 2 years. He looks like he is a good shot blocker plus he has a nice short range shot. We needed another inside player.

Unless he fouls a lot.
if this is any help- in his 56 juco games over two seasons, he picked up 130 total fouls, or an avg of slightly over 2 fouls/game,
and he fouled out only twice this past season.
The other two big men/forwards who started for them over the same two year span and played about the same minutes,
also averaged nearly the same number on fouls.
So his foul numbers don't stand out glaringly
