I heard PA Announcer, Paul Herzog announce the game would be shown on Comcast. I checked the notes on BradleyBraves.com and...

"Saturday’s game will be televised in the Chicagoland area by Lakeshore Public Television and the broadcast will be shown in Central Illinois by Comcast (Channel 74)." :)

Will it be viewable online at the Horizon's website?

Detroit is at Loyola tonight, is that game on any media. It would be nice to get a first hand scouting report on the Ramblers...

This was apparently just arranged this week, and it's great news. I think the announcers will be the Loyola guys, and not the Bradley team, but this a great perk from the Comcast people and Bradley. If the BU games were on any other local TV outlet, it would not be possible for them to add a game with this little time to sell advertising, and arrange for preemptions.

That link is showing Bradley/Loyola on the lineup for Saturday. For guys frustrated with BUBravesTV, maybe this will be a nice break for ya. ;)

Yeah, they did the same thing when we played there last year. I hope the announcers are the same this year, because they were terrible but hilarious. :)

Loyola played at home against Detroit last night, and won easily 67-41.

Box score-

attendance 1,657

Loyola has a couple injury issues-

Andy Polka, a junior forward who is 4th on the team in scoring with 7.5 ppg, and tied for 1st in rebounding with 5.5 rpg, has missed 18 games this season with an ankle injury. He is doubtful for the game Saturday.
Leon Young, a senior forward who is 3rd in scoring with 8.3 ppg, and tied for the lead in rebounding with Polka with 5.5 rpg, has missed their last 3 games with a hand injury, and is questionable for the game Saturday.
And junior Ross Forman who averages 3.9 ppg off the bench has also missed the last 3 games.

All I know about this game is that it's not going to be easy. I hope they bus up tomorrow and are staying at a fine 5 star hotel and having steak and lobster for dinner, then sleep in in the morning and have a late breakfast around 10:00 with eggs, pancakes, bacon and juice.

I have always liked Loyola, my 3rd favorite team in the State. Bradley, Illinois and Loyola. I think they played the very first D1 game at Carver wiith us. I remember V. Winters had a great game.

Go Braves:)

Check weather and leave early if you're driving to Loyola tomorrow. Chicago is expecting 3-8 inches of snow starting Friday night and going throughout the day on Saturday. Be safe everyone!

This weather system moving in has changed my plans. I am driving up this afternoon to beat the snow, and staying an extra night up in Chicago. I hope everyone has a safe trip!

They are now predicting 6-10" by the lake and north side. It would be better to stay home if you are driving up from Peoria Saturday.

I was going to go to the game, but I don't think I even want to make the 12 mile trip from the northwest suburbs in this kind of snow! I will probably watch from the comfort of my own home unless things change for the better, which probably won't happen since they are now predicting the worst of the snow for the early afternoon.
