Next game- Bradley at Tulsa, Monday 3/31 at 7 pm

Sure no problem...I can give you suggestions if you need them. As far as golf goes, I've enjoyed it the few times I've ever gone, but it's probably been 6-7 years since I went at all. Don't know if you'll have the patience to put up with me! :)

I think the same thing every time I golf with MY friends...we'd love to have you join us. Again....hope the chance isn't there:) but if so, we'll be in touch.

The way it looks now Monday evening may be our first significant severe weather/tornado outbreak of the season...you folks coming down for the game may get a true taste of Oklahoma springtime weather... :)

Now hopefully it doesn't affect the Reynolds Center between about 6-10 pm...

All upper bowl tickets are buy one, get one free. This is only available Monday-Wednesday (9am-5pm) at the Shea Stadium Ticket Office.

I'll probably go ahead and get mine through Ticketmaster tomorrow morning just to make sure I get decent seats rather than waiting until Monday!

Yes...BU got my memo. :) Nice job Bradley. Looks like my 8k plus bet will be a winner. Now lets go for the sellout.

Calling for the same here on Monday afternoon/evening however it's just a slight risk for severe storms in the midwest as of right now. It may be upgraded to moderate risk tomorrow. ATL's tornados were at a moderate predicted risk. Hopefully it all moves thru after everyone arrives and before everyone leaves. A good link for predicted severe storms is below...

(last game starters in bold; min/game is for CBI games only)

If it's not, then the CBI just cemented itself as a 3rd rate toureny with it's TV coverage. Any post season tourney championship not on a basic cable/satellite channel, at least regionally, is not big time. If the CBI wants to maintain it's Fox relationship next year then they need to either get the CBI final 4 on FOX national OTA or, at least FX.

Personally I think the CBI got many really, really good games out of this tourney and hope it grows, but they still have a ton of work to do in regards to TV coverage. These games need to be seen by more of the nation!

I found someone to get me a copy of the game. If I can't see it live at least I can see it a week or so late.

One guy reported today on the Tulsa board that over 6000 tickets are sold already and they are hoping for a sell out.

I really hope we can be two wins and done with Tulsa. Been to their fan site and am not going back. And personally, I don't want to see us schedule any preseason games with them.

 Did you post over there? As far as I can tell almost all Tulsa fans have been civil about discussing this game both on this site and InsideTulsaSports.

Yeah I agree..other then a couple early posts about them wanting Virginia vs us for the exposure they have been OK. They even called us "nice" (cringe) when refering to our board.

Weird. We can get a little edgy sometimes, but like I said, there's no reason for us to dislike Bradley and I feel like we've been decent. I apologize for the baby seal thing if that offended anyone. It's a bit of a running joke and has nothing to do with what we think of Bradley. Here's hoping to a good game tomorrow.

I wasn't a very big fan of the look-a-like pictures on the forum but that is their board and not ours so I can't get too upset. Other than those pictures, I haven't noticed anything bad going on between our board and theirs...

I don't we're sick. There was a long discussion about it back when it started. The lookalike thread is a long tradition and no harm is intended by it. We're just having fun. Again, I'm sorry and we did not mean to upset anyone.

The lookalike thing is hilarious IMO.....Valleytalk does it every year. No harm IMO. Didn't see the baby seal post...as an animal lover prolly just as well.

Should be a good game or two or three......

Most Tulsa fans are not sick. They are no different from other teams' fans. In fact, I would say they are 100 times better than OU fans. OSU's aren't so bad.

I'm probably a little older than most of you...............I date back to Gamblin' Joe...............If my memory serves me right, here is a Bradley / Tulsa game: We were playing Tulsa - at Tulsa, Dick Versace was the coach, we had a player named Jenkins (I believe he was our center), and during the game he got clocked in the nose, blood all over. Versace pulled the team off the floor, they had to call in the police.

Was that Tulsa?

Yes it was.. Robert Jenkins was teh man who got his nose busted// A fan also got involved- hit Dan Ruffin senior while he was on the bench.. It was wild...

That's what offended me. And I don't care whatever BS you got going on with whatever football team. If you guys think hitting a baby seal in the head is a "joke", then many of you are sick.
I remember hearing the "clubbing" a baby seal jokes a few years back on a tech forum I used to visit. For the life of me I cannot remember why it started, but am 95% sure it had nothing to do with real animal cuelity , but the joke had a life of it's own, much like a bad SNL skit, it got funnier the longer it went.
