With them missing their 3 top scorers (not including reed)....and no homecourt advantage...I can't see us losing this game.

Although like in peoria they can rain...and that was mostly carter and printy wasn't? and marshall too.

We cover the perimeter with conservative 1-3-1 and man.

I don't care how....just win this game. A win pretty much guarantee's that we escape Thursday night in St. Louis. Just win!

After losing Marshall, Indiana St. has played tough at Wichita, at Creighton, and beat Drake by 10 at home today. Even without Marshall, Lathan, and Kelly, I can see this being a very difficult game for us.

Our last 2 games have consisted of double and triple teaming the big men in the post, while hoping they miss the open 3's. If our D doesn't adjust to a mainly perimeter team for this game, then we could be in some trouble.

Interesting notes from Indiana State's win over Drake Saturday-
Despite being without their 3 main point guards, Jake Kelly, Dwayne Lathan, and Harry Marshall, Indiana State only had 3 turnovers for the game, their low for the season.

I think they would be susceptible to a little defensive pressuring, but Drake may not have been athletic enough to do that.

The Sycamores played their 4 starting guards a lot of minutes- Carl Richard 37, Rashad Reed 34, Jordan Printy 36, and Aaron Carter 37.

The only 3 reserves who saw any action in this game were all big men- Brant Leitnaker (3 minutes), Isiah Martin (16 min), and Koang Doluony (21 min).

Yeah it is amazing that they are playing well IMO. Is it teams just not getting up for playing them or what?

If they can win without top 3 scorers....then why can't they dominate with them!

We tried to guard the perimeter in peoria.....but they were launching from 30 ft!

I don't think their shot blocking bigs touched the ball.

Reed,Carter, and Printy need to be kept under control, they have played well without 3 starters and we need to go over there and take care of business , no road game should be taken for granted or you will end up like Wichita St. on the short end against Evansville, stay focused and play this game as if it was for the championship.

Bradley will shoot for its seventh win in 10 outings Tuesday when the Braves visit Missouri Valley Conference rival Indiana State...With a win Tuesday, Bradley will secure at least a final .500 record in conference play for a fifth consecutive season...Bradley will try to continue to gain ground in The Valley race and the Braves would climb into a third-place tie in the standings by coupling a Tuesday victory at Indiana State with an Illinois State home loss to Missouri State Wednesday night.
Relative Road Success
If Bradley can earn a victory Tuesday night at Indiana State, the Braves would improve to 5-6 in true road games and extend their streak of consecutive seasons with at least five road victories to five years...Bradley has won at least five road games in five consecutive seasons only one other time: 1957-62...For some perspective on the difficulties of winning on the road: a fifth Bradley road win Tuesday would match the combined 2009-10 season totals of Connecticut (0-6), Indiana (1-5), Louisville (1-5), North Carolina (1-5) and UCLA (2-4), a quintet of traditional college basketball powers that have combined for a 5-25 road record this year.
Against The Sycamores
Tuesday's game at Indiana State will be the 73rd in the all-time series between Bradley and the Sycamores...Bradley owns a 48-24 lead in the all-time series, including a 17-16 advantage in Terre Haute...Indiana State is the only current Valley rival against whom the Braves own a winning road record (though Bradley also had winning road records versus former Valley rivals Detroit, North Texas and West Texas State during their respective MVC tenures, as well as a .500 mark at Houston)...Eighth-year Bradley head coach Jim Les owns a 12-4 overall record versus Indiana State, including a 4-3 road record against the Sycamores...Bradley has won six of the last seven versus Indiana State, as well as 13 of the last 17 dating back to the opening round of the 2002 State Farm MVC Tournament.

Having ended the 2008-09 season by equalling the Missouri Valley Conference record for the most games ever played by a second-year player (74), Bradley junior guard Sam Maniscalco will hit the 100-game mark Tuesday at Indiana State...Maniscalco will become the third three-year Bradley player to appear in 100 career games, following Billy Mann (103) and Gene "Squeaky" Melchiorre (102), both from 1947-50...Maniscalco is on pace to equal Southern Illinois' Randal Falker (104, 2004-07) for The Valley record for the most games played by a three-year player in league history during Bradley's first game of the 2010 State Farm MVC Tournament.

Hoosier Highs
A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Bradley junior guard Andrew Warren (Brebeuf Jesuit Prep) has feasted on The Valley's two Hoosier State members of late...In three games against Indiana State and Evansville to date this season, Warren is averaging 21.7 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.0 apg and is shooting 52.9 percent (18-34) from the field, 56.3 percent (9-16) from 3-point range and 95.2 percent (20-21) from the free throw line...He scored a career-best 26 points in the Jan. 6 game versus Indiana State at Carver Arena and pumped in 22 points in Bradley's Feb. 6 visit to Evansville.

With A Loss...
Bradley will remain part of the logjam in the middle of The Valley standings...The Braves could remain tied for fourth with the Sycamores and Creighton if the Bluejays also lose at UNI Tuesday night (Missouri State could make it a four-way tie by winning at Illinois State Wednesday night)...At worst, Bradley would fall into a tie for fifth in the league standings with Indiana State and possibly Missouri State. Brown's Improvement

I plan on being in Terre Haute! Anyone else want a ride or going? We were looking to slide in down low...if there are open seats
Good news for ya. There will be alot of seats you will be able to move to. Are you stopping at the Beef House? Wish I was going. Bring a "W" home. Go Braves!

If BU brings their intensity, they should win this one.
We have been pretty good on the road lately.
9-7 would be a good position to be heading into BB weekend.
We would be assured of at least a 5th seed for the tourney, right?

Its going to be a battle for sure!

Its going to be a battle for sure!

Sycamores are a resilient bunch...our offense has had the two best games of the year without Kelly Lathan and Marshall...Don't count out the Trees....as I said these sycamores are different than your past sycamores...As so well put in one of our players lockers there's a sign that says... "Never Quit"...this team never does....

yeah gotta be sneaky. I dunno if we are. We are pushed for time with classes so I doubt we will....after if it is open!

I have family in Terre Haute maybe they will make me dinner.

Nope...we clinch 7th or better with a win...we can clinch 6th or better too with a win and an SIU loss at Drake.

Pregame article from the Terre Haute TribStar-

Apparently there had been some rumors maybe Harry Marshall or Dwayne Lathan might play tonight. Coach McKenna clear up any doubts-
McKenna said there??™s no way either Marshall or Lathan will play tonight, but they might be getting closer to a return.

???I think they??™re ahead of schedule [in recovery time],??? he said Monday. ???They??™re both planning on getting fitted for some braces [for their various injured body parts]. They??™re both anxious to get back, and they??™re frustrated by not getting to help out.???
