PEORIA, Ill. --Tickets for Bradley's second-round game of the College Basketball Invitational against Ohio (20-12) will go on sale Thursday morning and again will range from $9-30 based on location. Bradley season-ticket holders may purchase their seats in person at the Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse Box Office Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The general public may begin to purchase tickets online -- www.bubraves.com -- Friday at 5 p.m. The Fieldhouse Box Office also will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Both the Fieldhouse Box Office and Carver Arena Box Office will be open for CBI ticket sales beginning at 9 a.m. Monday. Bradley University students may begin purchasing tickets for $1 at the Robertson Fieldhouse Box Office Thursday.

The Braves (18-15) advanced to the second round with Wednesday's 70-67 victory versus Cincinnati in the opening round at Carver Arena. Senior guard Jeremy Crouch paced the Braves with 20 points, while junior forward Theron Wilson chipped in with 15. The win was Bradley's sixth straight versus a Big East Conference member and marked the third consecutive year the Braves have knocked off a Big East team in the postseason -- 2006 NCAA Tournament second round versus Pittsburgh (72-66) and 2007 MasterCard NIT first round against Providence (90-78 in OT).

The start time and potential television coverage for Monday's second-round CBI game versus Ohio at Carver Arena will be announced Thursday morning.

The students will all be back, should be no excuse not to get 9-10,000 for this one. I mean, what else is there to do on a Monday evening?

Go to Worship @ Full Volume?

But seriously, I'm definitely going to the Bradley game. I encourage the Worship @ Full Volume people to do so too, as it can easily be as quiet as a church service, but as loud as a revival. ;)

Joshua Bell is playing with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra next door... I had tickets, but I think I'm just going to have to give them away...

7:05pm Tip-off

Bradley??™s second-round game in the inaugural College Basketball Invitational versus Ohio (20-12) Monday Night will not be televised and as a result the game will tip off at the standard 7:05 p.m. time from Carver Arena.

I have too, one of their members or former members (not sure if he still does it) was standing behind me last night. It'd be great if they (and the symphony) could just postpone everything until Tuesday..

Let's get five figures into Carver on Monday night!

I think he was ripping on our fans, not the worship band...

Yeah, I was ripping on the casual fans who sit down during 80%-90% of the game, even when the team needs their support. Also, I was mentioning Worship @ Full Volume because they meet on Monday nights at 8:30 PM (which will be during the game) and attract a large number of people.

Sorry Jason, but if you stand or not does not make you a better fan than anyone else. I get tired of reading all the posts about who stands and who doesn't. If you want to stand and cheer, great. But don't put me, or anyone else who have been going to BU games since before you were born, down because we don't. I make as much, if not more, noise at the games I attend than many of the ones who prefer to stand. I don't go to be seen as a lot of the standers do. GO BRAVES

Its not even so much the fans that don't stand, although I agree that standing and cheering does much more than just remaining seated and quiet...(not saying you do that)

The problem I have always had at Carver are from those who have an issue with people standing....its my given right as a BU fan and supporter to stand when they are making a run and/or playing well so I can cheer on my team...

NOT be screamed at with four letter obscenities because someone behind me doesn't want to stand and/or doesn't really care much about the situation anyways...

Standing or not...to each his own...BUT if you have an issue w/ those in front of you standing and cheering on their team, then just don't go...it leaves more seats for the rest of us loud and proud fans...

Sorry I hijacked your thread...and yes, I do understand your last point Chico as there are many of those types of "standers"...you generally notice that when they do it, they aren't even looking near the court...just around the crowd to see if anyone is paying attention to them...

Keep comin and cheerin on the Braves Chico...and trust me, Jason meant no disrespect to a true Brave fan

Looking Forward to the Game.

Looking Forward to the Game.

As an Ohio Bobcat Fan, I'm looking forward to our game Monday evening, looks like our teams match up fairly well, Ohio might be a little stronger in the post, but the guard match ups look even. Should make for agreat game. Our attendance was way down for the Brown game, students taking finals and really only a day and a half to advertise for the local folks. I have season tickets so i attend all the home games. Ohio Bobcats have beat alot of good teams this year, George Mason, Cornell, and Kent State which all 3 we're in the NCAA Tournament. We beat Maryland, St.Johns and New Mexico State, and we lost 3 games on last second shots all on the road to Temple, Holy Cross and Akron. Bradley also has some impressive wins so it will be nice to see how the game turns out. Good Luck and GO BOBCATS !!!!

Gman, thanks for looking us up and posting. We look forward to seeing you in Peoria on Monday. Not to dig too deep into your post, but I disagree slightly with your analysis...I think you have a considerable advantage with your two bigs...especially in "girth." On the same note, I believe that we have a considerable advantage at guard, at least on paper...I can't claim to have watched OU this year, but most of the posters on your board feel that our 3-point shooting ability could be trouble for you.

The game breaker for us is simple...most MVC teams sport a guard rotation similar to ours, some better some worse, but I don't recall any Valley team having their two top scorers that are bigs. This could end up being the difference in the game, especially if your guards keep it under control and toss it inside rather than jack up 3 pointers.

Best of luck Monday and safe travels!

Ohio vs Bradley

Ohio vs Bradley

If Ohio sits back in a zone against Bradley like they did against Brown when Brown made 16 three's, Its gonna make for a long night for Ohio, due to Bradleys guard play. If we play man to man its going to be a closer game. Our big man 6'8 Leon Williams is a stud he was robbed of Player of the Year in our conference. but thats how it goes. He is a handful, Ohio likes to get up and down the floor, so if Bradley likes uptempo game well this one should be fun to watch, Ohio rotate's 10 players through out the game to stay fresh. Bradley makes 9 three's a game and Ohio makes 6 three's a game thats a 9 point swing for Bradley. So yes we'll have to guard the perimeter. I'm sorry i won't be attending, but i hope its on TV. Good Luck in the game and GO BOBCATS !!!!!!
