Do you know the reasoning behind this? I'm sure it must be money related somehow, but do not see any clear reason why it couldn't be shared with MVC school feeds.

Yes, I think I have heard that the advertising sales on the MVC broadcasts are based on exclusive rights to the broadcast of the game, and no streaming by the teams or other outlets.
