Bradley (5-2, RPI 125) plays Southeast Missouri State (4-3, RPI 248 ) Saturday night, 7:05 pm at Carver Arena.
SEMO plays in the Ohio Valley conference and has a former Bradley player on their roster, Michael Rembert, who is a senior for the Redhawks. He has not played much, coming off a knee injury, and is averaging just 3.6 ppg in 13.6 minutes per game. Their leading scorer is sophomore point guard Roderick Pearson at 13 ppg. Senior Brandon Foust, a transfer from Okalhoma, averages 11.6 ppg, and juco transfer Jaycen Herring averages 10.0 ppg.

The game is not on broadcast TV, but will be carried by BUBraves.tv.

I think we will. The student section will be back in full force since the last game was on the night that Thanksgiving break started. I look forward to yelling at Rembert even though I have nothing against the kid, he is just an easy target

Does anyone think he will get boo'd or anything? i assume our fans would be classier then that, he left because of playing time, not like a Ray Brown situation...

The most importaint thing about this game is Dru turns the big 50 this nite. I expect Beers from all my good poster friends AND a BU 50 pt win. :)

Go BU.....

We should cheer Rembert, he put in 2 years of hard work while he was here. He transferred because he saw little playing time in his future because of some 7' freshman named Pat. Stuff like that happens all the time, show the former Brave some love.

I love MR as much as anybody but I'm not so sure about that. I can't think of anyone on that Memphis squad that would have been a good match-up for him. But on the other hand I think that may have been an attempt at witty sarcasm, so here's the lol you were digging for: LOL.

If I only knew where you sat....................

I was a big MR fan. He had 23' range and could make FTs. Jim didn't play him a lot because he wandered away from the bucket and he wanted him to board.
As I see it there would not be much (can't quantify) let off if he was giving PO a breather.
I'll still boo him though.

I can pretty much guarantee one of those requests.....but do you want it before, during, or after the game? :)

Wait.....I already know the answer to that question! ;)

I remember reading about Will Bogan when he was in high school, and when Bradley really needed to land some big men recruits.
He was not highly recruited, despite being nearly 7 feet tall and over 300 pounds. He played for a tiny school in the smallest class in Missouri. He did dominate most of his competetion, but he was playing against small schools with few opponents that could match his size. He averaged 22.2 points and 14.7 rebounds per game as a senior.

He has now started 3 of SEMO's 7 games, and is their leading rebounder with 5.6 rpg, as well as scoring 8.7 ppg. In high school, his conditioning was a major reason more schools weren't recruiting him, but he is playing 19 minutes per game. So it should be interesting to see if he can get up and down the court with Bradley's style of play.

anybody notice on their roster their guard Hank Harris went to seward county cc. he's a juco transfer and was theron wilson's teamate. that should be cool for them to play against eachother now that they're DI players.

Mike Rembert has been battling some injuries and has only played in 5 of SEMO's 7 games so far, starting two of them.

His minutes have been limited and he hasn't gotten off to a very good start, averaging only 3.6ppg, 1.6 rpg.
One thing noticable, is that SEMO is very turnover prone...averaging almost 20 per game, and giving up 81.3 points per game.
