Next game: University of Pacific at Bradley- Wed., March 25, 7:05 pm

Good to be back online! I won't be able to make this game, so we better win! Would love to go to a game next Tuesday night!

The Pacific Tigers play in the Big West Conference. They finished the season in 2nd place behind Cal State-Northridge.
Pacific was 10-6 in the Big West, and with Monday night's win over Idaho, they are 21-10 overall.

Roster includes Hersey Hawkins' oldest son, Brandon Hawkins, who is a freshman. There is some question whether he is still with the team.-

Is there any tv coverage in this Tourney? I thought Fox Sports was to cover some of the games. We are down to 3 games left - any tv for this one? Or is there just coverage for the Championship game?

Quick turnaround for a game! I never thought they would play this week after a Monday game, so I promised my GF that I'd take her hiking on Wednesday up in Pt Reyes to check out the wildflowers. I plan to start early tomorrow so I can make it back by start time.

They did take CS-N into OT and then a few days or a week later CS-N almost took out Memphis in the 1st round. We should win, but we need to come out with a little more aggression and really get after it in the first 5 minutes.

Dave Reynolds-
Bradley gets another shot
After thrilling ending to CIT quarterfinal, Braves must regroup quickly to face Pacific
http://www.pjstar.com/sports/x599211964/Bradley-gets-another-shot

Dave confirms what is reported on BradleyFans, that Brandon Hawkins (Hersey's oldest son) did not make the trip to Peoria and is not with the team.

Also, an article from the Stockton, Claifornia paper-
Tigers continue journey
http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090325/A_SPORTS0801/903250335

The Pacific team took nearly 14 hours to travel from Stockton, CA to Peoria.

And, Bradley is getting more coverage from Chicago media- here is a Tribune article-

One more note-
the other semifinal CIT game will be played Thursday night, and will conflict with all the NCAA games Thursday.

I'm going to miss this one. :( Getting married in a couple of days, and that means I'm going to have to miss my first game of the year taking care of some wedding business. I hope they take care of business against Pacific so I get another shot at another game. It looks like Pacific won't be quite the challenge Oakland was, but the Braves need to make sure to take care of business.

Btw, anyone know or have theories as to why Hawk the Younger isn't travelling with Pacific?
