This is the first regular season game for both Bradley and Wisconsin-Parkside.
Parkside was 14-14 last season, and 10-9 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Bradley played Wisconsin-Parkside once before in a regular season game. In the 2018-19 season, Bradley's first game of that season was a home game against UW-Parkside (11/7/2018 ). Bradley won the game 74-58 behind 19 points from Koch Bar and 17 from Elijah Childs. Bradley finished the 2018-19 season 20-15, and won the 2019 MVC Tournament Championship.-

UW-Parkside had 4 GLVC 1st place finishes in a row from 2012-2016, and went to 5 straight D2 NCAA Tournaments under head coach Luke Reigel.
But since a 1st place finish in 2018-19, they have had 3 straight seasons with 5th place finishes at .500 or below.

Their 2022-23 roster shows a very young team made up of freshmen, sophomores, and redshirt-sophomores, except for one 5th year senior transfer-

4th leading scorer Rasheed Bello - 6'0" soph guard, 9.1ppg, 3.5rpg, 39.6% from three

Great preview, Coach. I'm most looking toward incremental improvement with our talented fast/quick PGs. Their progress is a leading indicator of how well we'll do this year.

Agree about our point guards Nashville Cat and thanks DaCoach for always giving us the informative info on each game. It has to take a lot of time and research to get this done….

I think Wisconsin-Parkside will be a lot like Illinois Wesleyan. They shoot well from outside, and they are extremely well coached and take advantage of opponents' mistakes and weaknesses. They are not as quick or athletic as Bradley, so I think the final outcome will be similar to the IWU game if the Braves play smart and avoid a poor shooting night.

Looking forward to seeing if they can cut down on the turnovers tonight and the free throw shooting has to be better. Another game that BU should win pretty handily I think. I'm expecting something similar to the 2018 game score wise. Go BU!

Jinx, buy me a Coke.

I said it first!

As for the game, whoa, where did Darius Hannah get his right foot from? Last season he moved around like he had two left feet! Talk about growth - saw all kinds of potential but just didn't know if he'd be a guy who could really score offensively. Those moves were smooth all night and that will translate, even against better opponents.

Once Mast is healthy, a front court of him, Malevy and Hannah is going to be a force.
