UNI is doing pretty much exactly what Bradley did a couple years ago...

They are in Brazil playing five games..

Here's how they have done so far...

Game 1 - 62-48 win over Jundai (a U19 Club Team)
Nate Buss 14 points, Seth Tuttle 10 points, Chris Olivier 8 points

Game 2 - 79-72 win over Americana stats missing -- makes you really appreciate Bobby!!

Game 3 - will be today against Jundai again
Game 4 - will be Friday against Botofogo
Game 5 - Sunday against Fluminense

Shockers also head to Brazil

The scrimmage/Alumni game that Illinois had before their trip to Italy (it counts as one of their allowable ten exhibition practices)
proved Sammy Maniscalco can play at this level...
Sammy played 17 minutes at PG - NO turnovers, nice job running the show, and a couple nice assists.
Sammy was also 1-2 from 3-pt range while the entire rest of the team was just 2-22!!! Toss in 3 rebs and despite nothing flashy, Sammy clearly gives the Illini what they need -- just wish he could help them hit the rim from outside once in a while.
The stud was Nnana Egwu (7-9) with 16 pts, 7 rebs in 20 minutes....so Meyers Leonard might be looking for somewhere else to play in a year or so!!!!!

In the alumni game Deron Williams, Kendall Gill, Dee Brown, Roger Brock, and Calvin Brock had the best games...
A few players (most notably Sergio McClain) were pretty out of shape and ineffective.
...and yes, Bill Self was there....

Murray State just completed their 2nd game and won 76-60 over a touring All Star team called "A-Game Hoops"

UNI has one more game left in Brazil vs. Fluminense
UMKC is in Italy starting their tour

UNI wins their final Brazilian game 92-63 to go 5-0 with an average margin of victory of 24.2 points.
..as before, there are no details or stats...

are you joking? ML played great for the U-19 team, and played 2 minutes in the scrimmage because he sprained his MCL..............in a year or so he will be drafted

fwo -- this was a statement of compliment for Nnana, and Meyers won't be drafted next year any more so than Richmond was drafted this year
