Please, understand that the mods that we have, myself included, are not paid to monitor this board 24 hours a day. We do the best we can. And it is difficult to read every word of every post, especially when the board is as busy as it has been the last day. There have been hundreds of posts per hour.

So, if anyone thinks a post is objectionable or in poor taste, or may violate the rules we have, instead of replying to it and commenting how bad it is or how awful the moderating is, please PM me or any moderator and we'll remove it. Thanks.

Be assured that we still intend to moderate the same way we always have.
 
Thanks DC. I think the mods have done an outstanding job in the face of the mass vitriol that has been spewed over the past 24 hours..... including my own. :oops:

Keep up the good work guys...... and I promise to try to keep it classy going forward. :)
 
It's been a rough few days.. Or a rough season... Or season and a half for that matter. I understand how difficult the position of moderating had been during that period. All other issues aside I'm hoping our little community can do some healing in this new reality we're in. Go Braves!
 
Shoot DC you're doing a good job, don't get too offended by some of the rabble. This chaos is worse than Katrina and you sure as hell aint FEMA so I definitely wouldn't blame you.
 
Thanks for the hard work. I know at a time like this you probably don't look forward to spending 24 hours straight on here monitoring every post. Hopefully it will be an enjoyable thing for you in the future. I know everyone was a little tense with their own feelings last night, but from what I have seen it has been a little more under control today. (Maybe I missed it) Anyway I have been more under control today.
 
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the moderators for keeping things as civil as possible on the board. It's a tough job when you have a smart### like me on the board!:lol:

I also want to say I'm sorry for a couple of deleted posts. I was upset about the situation and crossed the line!! Know what = The sun came up this morning and golf season is right around the corner!!

DC - Thanks for all the mods do. Tough 24 hours (and couple of weeks) but keep up the great work.
 
I have to say..i agree with most of the deletions so far...except a few by me over the past few days that were purely jokes...but nonetheless it's been as smooth as a total upheaval can go on the board
 
Having been deleted, and warned others find me too offensive before JL was released, I have implemented a personal ban on my posting anything controversial, or, replying to anyone else's controversial messages! :D:D:D

Hopefully, in a day or two, the shock and disappointment some are feeling will subside and people can look forward.

PS The personal attacks on JG are unseemly and reflect poorly on BU supporters.
 
I have no idea if I have been deleted or not I just trust that the mods are doing a great job as always. I can say when I have noticed my deletes they were worthy of said deletion. I also hope that the posters leave the players and recruits alone for the time being.

In my opinion, Asking to be Facebook friend if you have never actually met is creepy, but if you have met them and have some sort of relationship it's probably ok.

IMO, following them on Twitter is fine.
