Oh, how I loathe the Patriots

From their smug attitudes to Bill Bellichick's ratty old sweatshirt to their obnoxious fans to the fact that I hate MA-ssholes. there isn't a team on earth I hate more than the Patriots. This could quite possibly be the worst super bowl of all time. I couldn't think of a match up between 2 teams I hated more than the Patriots and Giants.

Dude, my roommate's a Pats fan and I'm a Colts fan who hates everything about the Pats! Made for a fun night.

In my work playoff pool, I put in a second pick for the Giants to win the Super Bowl.

Looks like I got some money coming to me tomorrow! :D

Well, my prediction and hope turned out to be right tonight. I have to say that I as well HATE the Patriots, they just piss me off to new levels. Just like the Cowgirls did in the last decade. In fact I hate alot of football teams. I guess this calls for a list...

My most hated teams:

1) Pukers
2) Cowgirls
3) Billicheats
4) Vikqueens
5) Pussycats

Obviously Da Bears are the best team the world has ever seen. Ever.

Nobody likes a cheater whether its New England or Indiana.

Murph, you're the man!!!

Glad to hear you got some money, Bravesfan. I hate all teams from the East Coast, actually I hate the east coast too, but I'm just glad the Patriots didn't win!!

I generally hate everything that is New York as well as have always hated the Patriots...but I couldn't have been happier to see the Giants win.

Nice classless move by Bellichick by walking off the field with 00:01 seconds left.

I couldn't disagree with you guys more about the game itself, though. I don't usually watch tons of games and my family doesn't watch almost any. But every one of us was glued to that one. It was a total slugfest and was extremely entertaining. I'd compare it similarly to a 2-1 pitching duel in baseball, which also can be really entertaining.

That was actually a great football game, especially the fourth quarter.

I also think, Belichek did it alright, because he went on the field and congratulated Coughlin, and then left. They had already run the clock out and put time back on as he was doing that. At that point, I think he'd done what he needed to do.

I thought it was an awesome game! One of the best if not the best superbowls I've seen.

Sure, not a lot of points were being scored, but the ball was being moved and the defenses stepped-up in the end to make the stop. What happened in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter was movie material.

Not sure if Manning should have gotten MVP. He made the winning touchdown pass, but Absolutely MVP was the Giants' defense. Other teams have put up 17 points on the Patriots. However, how many teams keep the Patriots to 14 points the entire game or 7 pts for three quarters.

but Absolutely MVP was the Giants' defense

Agree... this was one of the better Super Bowls in quite some time.

Also good point about the Giants D. They were in the back field all night long.

IlliBraves do you hate the people from the east coast also? HOw'sthe west coast? Just wondering?

I thought it was a great game and the Giants D deserved the MVP! They dominated that line of scrimage and were disrupting anything the Pats tried to do.

I just dislike their obnoxious sports fans. I think they're loud, rude and think their team is god. Now I'm sure there are plenty of east coasters who are fine people but everyone I have ever met from there acts as if they're somehow special for being from the east coast and are usually stuck up and rude. Plus, as I said, I'm a Colts fan so that's not helping my perception of the patriots. I have many reasons to back up my opinion, and we could start with the way that Bellichick is a sore loser.

IlliBrave a Colt Fan! I hate the Colts, their ownership (especially the departed Ersay) that moved the beloved team from an East coast city Baltimore. BTW I grew up in Baltimore. IlliBrave have you ever attended a game at Fenway. I agree that they are obnoxious but more passionate you will not find. Philly fans are pretty rude, they after all booed Santa Claus but passionate. Baltimore fans are not obnoxious, less so then White Sox fans. Here in SF the fans are decent but boring. So it depends where you go and how much you equate passion with obnoxiosness. I kind of miss that passion out here.

BTW. What do you hate about west coast fans? Too liberal!
