Here are the rules..............

Guess the starting five for the very first regular season game,
which is scheduled Saturday, November 10 at Illinois-Chicago.

The deadline for guesses will be midnight October 31, 2007, since it is possible one can
gain an advantage by seeing the lineups of the Nov. 1st exhibition game.

So the advantage of submitting your guess early is that in case of ties, the earlier post wins a
slightly higher prize, but there is an advantage to waiting to see if injury or any news leaks can help.

****NOTICE, since there are only a modest number of reasonable combinations, I will
also award SECOND place and THIRD place prizes, etc...
so feel free to guess any combination even if it has already been guessed!

I am going to say I think the starters will be Ruffin, Cole-Scott, Maniscalco, Crouch, Collins (but I am ineligible)

The prize will be cash certificates to local restaurants and/or a BradleyFans.com T-shirt!

Wilson (only because Radigan already picked Collins; if I was sure Salley would be back I would have picked him)

Now that I know we can have duplicate picks I am editing the above and replacing Wilson with Collins.

Hmm.. Since #20 Ruff is a three year starter, It's hard to leave him off.
Was there ever an opener that he didn't play?? That said

I'll go Ruff-Crouch-Austin-Warren-Cole-Scott.

I know, I know, That looks like SIX players.
I chose them because for UI-C, it's also going to LOOK like six.

Guards are ready for the season the season quicker and JAL
has no fear of one/four sets that teams have a tougher time
preparing for. Then the bench should keep other coaches
up at night. A lotta length, a lotta hops, and a lotta jets in
that bunch. It all makes it hard to wait... Wing
 
I think all the best combos have already been picked, so I'm going for second place:

Ruff, JC, Cole-Scott, Wilson, Collins

Austin

Cole Scott

As this was posted yesterday regarding T starting a pickem on the starting line up I am petitioning for having my guess recorded first? T, as the cofounder of the board and the god of board pickems, I leave it in your wise and noble hands?

Mex, you know that is not going to happen. Many have made earlier predictions, and nobody is going to search for those before making their choices. :lol:

Granted....it was your idea to start the pick-em and you will not be denied a 1st place share of the winnings if you strike it rich with your guess.
