Evansville has outscored Creighton 10-2 to start the second half and now leads 50-41 with 17:42 left. The Creighton fans are stunned, and as quiet as they ever get. Creighton with a bunch of turnovers, and their guards are allowing open shots, and Colt Ryan (21 points) and Denver Holmes (17 pts) just aren't missing many.

Colt Ryan now has 33 points with 10 minutes left in the game. McDermott has just 8 points as Evansville leads 65-53.

McDermott came into the game averaging 20.9 ppg in MVC games, and Colt Ryan is averaging 20.8 ppg. I think Ryan is trying to make a point, as well as take over the MVC lead (conference games only). Overall, McDermott is averaging 23.2 ppg and Ryan 20.0 pg.

The shooting percentages, especially Evansville's shooting on the road, are spectacular-

Colt just hit his career high of 41 points, the first time Creighton allows a player scoring 40 points in a game since 1985!

Evansville now up 90-87 with 2 minutes to go.

All I can say is Creighton's defense stinks!

Final-
Evansville 92
Creighton 93

Colt Ryan with 43 points, but he missed the final shot from three as overtime ended.
Denver Holmes with 25 points
McDermott finishes with 21 points and Antoine Young with 21.

One of the wildest games I have seen in a while! Nice that the nation got to see the Valley at it's best tonight (at least on the offensive end of the ball)!

Wild finish, but a tough game to watch with 50+ fouls called and over 50 free throws. Evansville played not to lose at the end of regulation and it cost them.

This was Evansville game to win. Their last two possessions in regulations ended up at shot clock violations. Creighton got really lucky not losing their fourth game out of the last six. Hopefully we can win on thrusday night and give them a run for their money on friday!
