OT - ESPN The Magazine and ESPN Insider for a year for $1.99

I sent another e-mail the other day and got this response today:

Hi
Please allow 8-12 weeks to receive your first Magazine subscription.

Thank You

I'm glad you brought this up because I haven't received anything either, and can't access the Insider! Or maybe I forgot to press the link for the Insider so I have to go back to the confirmation email. But yes, no magazines yet for me either.

They told me that I may not receive the magazine until April. On January 1st I was told to wait 8-12 weeks, and then they also told me it was delayed 4 weeks on top of that.

Got mine today. How do I sign up for insider?

Create an ESPN account online, or use an existing account. There should be a link at the top right of the screen after you log in that says "Activate Insider". From there, you will provide information that is on the address section on the front of the actual ESPN Magazine cover. Once you fill everything out, Insider will be activated.

In case anyone wants to jump on the ESPN Mag/Insider bandwagon...

Magazine (bi-weekly) + Insider for $4.00/year:

use the coupon code "7773" to reduce it to $4/year, up to three years.

Awesome how did you find out about that coupon code? I don't even really care about the magazine part but the insider is definitely worth it in my opinion. Just re-upped for another 3 years for $12, hard to beat that.

Every once in a while I check out a website called dealnews.com -- not typically finding anything I actually want/need, but occasionally it works. Also just a nice way to keep tabs on prices for something that you're looking to purchase in the future (i.e. TVs, etc). Found that one for ESPN Mag/Insider on there this morning!

I signed up too. How do you get the insider access after you sign? Do you have to wait for the first magazine to arrive?

If there's a way around it, please share... the first time I got it, I had to wait. Now when I've renewed, its somehow renewed my insider, too...
