I'm still waiting for Triman to join this discussion and get his crow.
LOL!

This one has an interview with POB, and he sounds happy to be in Boston, and humble by the standards of today's athletes.

I don't come back to this board much.
I'm really shocked that he got signed. I read nothing coming up to this that made me think he would have a home in the NBA next year (especially in Boston since reports of his workout were horrible). Good news for him, and I'm really surprised he got signed this early with far superior free agents available.
As said before, let's wait and see if he gets playing time and stays on the roster. He 'should' be able to develop finally with the Celtics. The Cs are probably one of the last teams that I would have expected to sign him (low risk signing I guess). They don't have a premier big man (I don't consider Garnett a big) so he has no excuse about not getting playing time.
Good luck to POB next year. Is he playing summer league for Boston then?
Triman, your post is absolutely full of contradictions!?
First:
"I'm really shocked that he got signed. I read nothing coming up to this that made me think he would have a home in the NBA next year (especially in Boston since reports of his workout were horrible)........The Cs are probably one of the last teams that I would have expected to sign him (low risk signing I guess)"
Then:
"He 'should' be able to develop finally with the Celtics."
Make up your mind pal and get "on board" as a fan! Obviously, the Celtics know MUCH more about pro ball and developing big men than you ever will! Maybe you should just stick with the "other board" as they seem to be more your type and think as you do.![]()
What's with all the hostility? Aren't we all BU fans?
