Philadelphia 76ers Evan Turner gives the Bulls some bulletin board material

The Bulls have cinched the best record and the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Philadelphia 76ers are currently tied with the Knicks for the last 2 playoff spots, and they each play Thursday night to determine the final standings.
But Evan Turner may just have sparked a war of words by declaring that the 76ers would "dodge the tougher team" if they fall to eighth and avoid Miami, suggesting he would prefer to play the less-tough Bulls.

that was actually the common talk last nite by the ESPN talking heads - pretty much granting that any smart Sixers or Knicks fan would prefer the #8 seed over #7 as if it's a given the Heat are the way better team.

And the Bulls have accomplished their better record while hampered way worse with injuries.
Missed games among key players- (not counting games played while hampered with injury)
Bulls: Rose 26, Deng 11, Hamilton 38, Noah 2, Watson 17, Gibson 3
- total 97
Heat: James 3, Wade 16, Bosh 8, Chalmers 2, Cole 1, Haslem 2, Battier 1 - total 33

Bulls can also lock into the top seed overall in the NBA - even over any Western team should they meet San Antonio in the Finals, by winning tonight.

The Bulls have had their starting 5 together for only 16 games all season, including last night (Rose, Deng, Boozer, Noah, Hamilton). Amazing for a team that is almost certain to finish with the #1 seed in the entire NBA for the second season in a row.
