yet another great report with lots of video, interviews - great job WMBD's Patrick Cunningham!
If the video does not "pop-up" automatically on that page, here is a direct link to just the video-

NOTE- from the videos, we see every single player is healthy and active in practice - no walking boots, no guys sitting out in casual clothes.
As I looked at the recent coverage of the other MVC teams, several have players who are injured.
One recent report at ISU suggests at least three players sitting out (
Boden Skunberg (projected starter) with knee, Ty'Reek Coleman fractured finger, and Ty Pence in a walking boot)
We need all MVC teams to get healthy for the non-conference games as we need the MVC to run the table and rack up lots of non-conference wins. Injuries during the conference games don't affect the Valley's NET but losing non-conference games definitely does.
One more note- a week from Thursday (Oct 2) Drake has their
Hoopfest (their equivalent of our Red-White Scrimmage)
and not MVC but Saint Louis, who we
host in an exhibition in 4 weeks, and who play their "Billiken Madness" this Friday -
they have two players out with knee injuries,
Dion Brown (projected as senior starter who was full time starter last year at Boston College),
and Cam Hutson (freshman, 6-5 high scoring wing)
