Possible second home game

Saw where UNC Wilmington defeated Yale who was the higher seed. Before jumping too far ahead, have to win tonight to make a possible second home game a reality. Let's have a good turnout considering the later start time.
Weather will not be a factor so hoping for a big crowd. "LET'S GO BRAVES"

How would we get another home game?
UNC-W is a better seed - maybe could they have a home conflict like Dayton?

One other conflict... The 2nd round games are scheduled to be played on either Saturday, March 21 or Sunday, March 22.
But, the Civic Center Arena is booked for a rodeo show Saturday night.-

I'm not sure even a Sunday game could be played in the arena considering how long it takes to clean up after rodeo type events.

This will be our last home game this season and as of now tickets are not selling well. Too bad because the opponent is a good one and there really is not much going on tonight. Right now I see 4,000 or less attending.

For comparison, here are the attendance figures for the home NIT games in the last 3 years-
3/19/25- BU vs North Alabama- attendance 2,950
3/25/25- BU vs Chattanooga- attendance 4,954

3/20/24- BU vs Loyola- attendance 4,691

No home games in the 2023 NIT.

It's not like this team underachieved and the NIT is a disappointment or is meaningless to win any games. This is a chance to take advantage of what's in front of us! A blessing if u will. Getting a 1st round home game vs a worthy opponent was NOT even in our rear-view mirror 2 weeks ago. Most of us thought the season was over!
Hopefully we get at least 5k to support this group.

6 or 7pm start would have helped bolster attendance. Only 2 of my 5 family members are coming tonight because of the 8pm start. Too bad we couldn't pick the start time. And tickets took too long to release. This isn't our first rodeo (no pun intended) with the NIT. Not sure why we don't have a system/framework for rolling out ticket availability faster.

I'd love to have 4k tonight.

If the Braves win tonight, couldn’t they play at the Renaissance Coliseum? It would be a great atmosphere.

They could, if the NIT would allow it. But recall the last game Bradley played at the Renaissance Coliseum drew 2,585
